Yannick Eich received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with focus on automation systems from TU Darmstadt in 2021. He joined the Self-Organizing Systems Lab in January 2022.

His research interests include topics from machine learning and control such as Bayesian inference of stochastic processes, Bayesian optimization, experimental design, diffusion models, stochastic optimal control, planning in Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) and reinforcement learning.

Students interested in these topics are encouraged to reach out regarding bachelor or master thesis projects, or to propose their own ideas.

Alternatively, a selection of available projects of our lab can be found here .
